Today's tip tackles the tough reality of managing out toxic individuals:

  1. Identify the Poison: Constant negativity, disrespect, manipulation, or drama – these behaviours poison team morale and stifle productivity.

    Don't ignore the warning signs.

  2. Focus on Impact, Not Personalities: Attack the behavior, not the individual. Frame the conversation around the harm their actions cause to the team, customers and the work environment.

  3. Empathy with Boundaries: Be empathetic to their struggles, but set clear boundaries.

    Offer resources and support for improvement, but emphasize the need for change to protect the team.
